2007 Moments

Another year just went by and considering some low points that happened, I still consider it to be the one of the best years in my older life. For someone who always ponder to where he had gone, sitting outside the house gate, usually savoring a cup of coffee, before or after reading the news or watching TV, blogging helps to keep track of significant or even the not so significant events that happen. I feel fortunate to have Internet at home which keeps me abreast of what's going on in the World Wide Web, a giving brother who lets me use the PC and pays for the SmartBro bills, a sister who now sets off the humongous electric statements, and the rest of the family for just being there. We subscribed for the broadband Internet in January a year ago and this month will finalize the lock-in period my brother said 'he endured'. Though the account is under my name, I respect his knowledge when it comes to these things and also not to forget that he owns all the PC stuffs. He's switching to another Internet provider. I applied for a student driver's permit in February in order to prepare myself for getting the Honda XRM (on installment) in March. From then on my being punctual in to getting work have not been alright successful but I enjoyed the convenience of driving at the oddest of hours. Also in March, I got to communicate to two of my treasured 'kababatas' from grade school in Project 2 through Friendster. But just as I wanted to rekindle the lost times, so much have changed in those years and maybe they're not interested in me as much as I do. I experienced a near death situation in April when during our family outing in Bulacan, I literally drowned and was pushed through by the strong current away. Good thing I was swept sideways and was able to touch the ground and get safe. But that nearly got me there. I thought that was my end. In May, during one of our joy rides, I almost smashed against a truck on a zigzag road also in Bulacan while glancing through the side mirror my companion which I left behind . The following months were sort of a financial struggle and in July I'm was completely broke. My anticipated SSS loan did not materialize leaving me a burden that really knocked the hard out of me. Of course I wasn't expecting these to happen or I'd rather not took home the bike in the first place. In August, our cutest 'bundle of joy', Jerrian came bringing smiles to everyone in the house. Shiela left for abroad in September together some relatives and this week marks the fourth month that we've missed her. I celebrated my birthday with a simple 'handa' and did not invite any guests (Sorry guys, maybe next time!). From my previous blog niche, I recalled that in October, some person celebrated his birthday in October and shared his 'handa' with me. Shiela send us relief in November enabling us to apply for Maynilad Water (one of the most important happening) and pay off some obligations. In December, I was able to get a vacation to the province that took more than 10 years to wait, file for the correction of my birth certificate, and paid what I owe my brother enabling him to get a motorbike of his own, too.

(One enjoy moment in 2007, grabbed from friend Vivian. Hello Ms. Vi!)
